Christina Aguilera showed off a daring hair transformation on her latest date night with fiancé Matthew Rutler.

The Grammy winner debuted a striking new hairdo as she stepped out at the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., April 18 for a stylish date night with her fiancé Matthew Rutler.
On the red carpet, Christina ditched her signature long locks in favor of a chin-length blonde bob that featured wispy micro bangs. Her chopped tresses, which framed her face with delicate curls on the ends, gave the “Beautiful” singer’s beauty look a modern take on old Hollywood glam.
And her new ‘do called for an equally edgy fashion moment. After all, Christina stepped out on the red carpet with Matthew wearing a black Salih Balta gown that featured a figure-hugging latex bodice and sheer skirt.
To complete her look, the 45-year-old paired her stylish moment with some dainty jewelry. Indeed, Christina opted for a black stone pendant around her neck and as well as a minimalist bracelet alongside her diamond rings and earrings.
But Christina’s new look isn’t the only aspect of the night having fans saying something. In fact, she and Matthew, 41, put their love on display with rare PDA as he placed a tender kiss on her cheek in front of photographers.
Though Christina and Matt met on the set of 2010's Burlesque and got engaged four years later, they tend to keep their romance private.
Even so, Christina—mom to 18-year-old son Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman and 11-year-old daughter Summer with Matt—previously opened up about what makes their connection so special in a sweet birthday tribute.
"You're simply the best, @m_rutler!” she captioned an April 2021 Instagram post. “You continuously impress me with how devoted, driven and hardworking you are, while being a devoted, loving and thoughtful parent & partner."
"You always strive to be better and never settle for anything but,” she added. “From being an amazing father to an incredible business man and forward thinker, you innovate and execute ideas on the daily."
